Part Time Media Executive

Purpose of the job

To provide part time flexible support for the media team .

Role

  • To support the media team in day-to-day tasks including the following:
  • Assist in development of appropriate media plans
  • Assist in preparation of detailed media schedules
  • Assist in the buying of all media including TV, radio, outdoor (bought through a specialist), cinema, press.
  • Assist in planning and buying of media inventory on Student sites (UCAS, What Uni, Student Room etc.)
  • To support the digital marketing teams, setting up media jobs in Synergist software package, monitoring campaign spend, assisting with the development of campaign reports.
  • To attend client meetings and briefings.
  • To act as a member of the team that is the outward face of the agency presenting the agency in a professional, smart and personable manner.

IT Skills

  • Good computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office Packages, Word, Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly to operate bespoke computer applications after training (Synergist)

  • Seek to build or improve on formal qualifications, business and personal skills with a view to becoming a Media Buyer.
  • Gain a full exposure and understanding of the various marketing disciplines.
